       him. She always forgave him for
       whatever he’d done and she always
       said sorry when she finally realized
       how awful she’d really been.]

       ”What’d you make?”

     "It does, and I really – I’m sorry.“

      [Stuart moved a hand up to run
           his fingers gently through her
           hair, thumb brushing along her
           temple and pushing the hair
           away from her face.  He knew
           that Allison would forgive him
           for it, but that didn’t make him
           feel any better for upsetting her.]

          with coffee and orange juice.”
